I was born in Abruzzo on the slopes of the Appennine Mountains and when I first met with a camera, it was in my father’s hands. He used to like taking photos, I used to love playing with the camera focus. Images of things, people, places could be as much sharp or blurry as I wanted them to be, giving or taking away depth to the world.
As time passed, me and the camera grew apart, swept away by the occurrences of life, until I met a girl. With skilled hands she removed the dust from it so I could find my lost love again.
It was 2011. Since then, we’ve never lost each other again, me and my camera.
I attended various photograpich courses (portrait and advanced) at “Officine Fotografiche” and at "CSF Adams" and the photography course at “Cooperativa Sociale di Psicoterapia Medica”.
The times when I used to play with the focus of my dad’s camera are long gone, but I’m still looking through its lenses and for me taking photos means to always try to frame/create new images that for stir up emotions in people’s hearts.
